This library focuses on reimagining the conventional public space using the logic of a hivemind as the governing principle. A hivemind is a system in which every cell operates independently, but is only about to operate by being apart of the whole.
So, rather then treating the library as a single uniform container for storing books with sections allocated to books and sections allocated for reading, the design instead treats it as a collective of distinct cells, where each section is a self-contained environment which combines with others to form one larger living organism.
What results is a library which is not designed as a single space, but rather a community of cells, being individually complete and simultaneously collectively alive.
